YEBO Fresh

Yebo Fresh is an online grocery shopping service on a mission to bring ‘Good Access to Good Food’ to South Africa’s townships. The company launched in 2018 with a small team in a Hout Bay garage, delivering dry groceries, fresh fruit & vegetables and frozen meat to Imizamo Yethu and Hangberg. In 2019 Yebo Fresh moved into its first ‘official’ warehouse at the airport and also started serving other townships such as Khayelitsha, Delft, Guguletu and Langa.

Ordering via Yebo Fresh is easy: you can go to our website www.yebofresh.co.za or whatsapp 0600 151751 to view the products and prices or place an order. The Yebo Fresh team will source the goods directly from the manufacturer or from the market and will pick & pack the order at the warehouse. The delivery will be done by local drivers who are able to navigate their way and deliver to the customer’s doorstep- even if there is no formal address. We can now generally deliver within 1-2 working days depending on product availability.

Because our customers often are on a small budget, we are extremely conscious of keeping our quality high but our prices as low as possible and delivery is free for all orders over R500.

Yebo Fresh has grown exponentially since our inception: today we work from a 2400 square metre warehouse, the team consists of over 50 people and we pack thousands of orders every week, from food hampers for a family to entire bulk pallets or bakkie loads for ECD’s, NGO’s, soup kitchens and other organisations consuming large quantities of food.
