TJOPSHOP lamb is from Carnarvon in the Greater Karoo, South Africa. Lamb from this region is well known for its distinctive taste derived from the lamb feeding on the nutritious indigenous flora commonly referred to as the “karoobossies”.
We believe that freezing lamb is the best way to preserve the flavour and freshness. Our lamb is vacuum sealed and frozen within 4 days of being butchered and then kept below -18 degrees until sold to our clients.
