It is now time to prune back any branches that were damaged by the recent storms and to prune Hibiscuses and other shrubs/trees back in your precious gardens.  Turn the unwanted piles of cut branches into chippings to mulch and feed your flowerbeds. This will also assist in keeping the soil moist and curb the growth of weeds.  You can also apply them to pathways or to open patches in your gardens.
