Your garden should be watered before 10:00 a.m. during these hot months of the year and it would be beneficial to apply bark or wood chip mulch to flowerbeds to help the soil retain moisture and retard weed growth.
Lawn caterpillar start hatching in lawns at this time of year, if you have brown patches in your lawn that won’t go away despite good watering and fertilizing, you will more than likely have lawn caterpillar.
