We here at Souvla Stix have decided that for the rest of the wonderful winter season, we will not be serving lunch on Saturday’s. But we will be open and ready to serve at 16h00. Once summer returns, so shall Saturday lunches.
Souvla Stix is a family owned and run Mediterranean and Greek restaurant in the quaint village of Hout Bay. Our signature souvla ensures that your chicken, beef, lamb or pork are cooked perfectly on rotating skewers over a hot coal fire. We also offer great meze options and our cocktails are sublime.
Our compact menu ensures you only get the best we have to offer. Come and try our home-made tzatziki, Greek lamb and authentic village salad. As we go into winter we also have two fireplaces to ensure you are warm and toasty. Open daily for dinner and weekends for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We offer vegetarian meals including falafel, halloumi and the best salads!

We had our post Rotary meeting dinner this evening at Souvla Stix ! Not often does every person at the table rave about their meal. My free range chicken wings with Village salad and rustic cut chips was outstanding ðŸ˜. Other guests had the lamb chops, lamb chump, calamari, chorizo - it was all fantastic. Our wine was served super chilled. The waiter (I can’t remember his name but he was a young man with reddish hair) was also brilliant. He gave great recommendations and was super helpful. We were all super impressed and highly recommend this gem of a restaurant. Will definitely be back.
