Oxford Street Medical Practice offers trusted GP rooms for your family. We offer general family medicine, women’s health and occupational health services.

We also have a specialised travel clinic for pre-and post-travel needs.

Situated in a quiet lane in Hout Bay at 14 Oxford Street.

Each of our doctors has extensive experience in the management and diagnosis of general medical conditions in adults and children. We are equipped to deal with minor emergencies and injuries when required. We have a close relationship with local specialists and will arrange referral to local healthcare facilities when the need arises.

Women’s Health- We provide comprehensive women’s health services and reproductive health advice for our female patients these services include advice on contraception options and the insertion of IUD’s as well as women’s health check-ups and pap smears. We also offer advice on HRT and other treatment options for menopause and it’s associated symptoms. We can provide referrals for mammograms and bone densitometry when indicated.

Occupational Health -We offer occupational medical examinations for employees and their employers these medicals include the following seafarers medicals (SAMSA), professional driver’s medicals (PDP), working at heights medicals and driven machinery medicals as well as other fitness to work assessments. We are available to visit employers to conduct medicals when legislation permits this service.

Travel Clinic- We offer a comprehensive travel health service at our rooms this includes pre-travel and post travel consultations, as well as up to date advice on vaccinations and medications required for different travel destinations both locally and abroad. The clinic is a registered yellow fever vaccination centre, and is licensed to issue yellow fever certificates as well as other travel vaccines. We are also offer South African immigration medicals when required.
