Kronendal Primary School

Kronendal Primary is a co-educational, government school with a rich heritage dating back to 1901. Today Kronendal has over 380 students, with an average class size of 28. Kronendal prides itself on providing a safe, happy and motivating environment which allows children to achieve their academic, sporting and creative potential and build friendships for life.

Kronendal is subject to the South African Schools Act. A Board of Governors, consisting of parent representatives as well as teaching and non-teaching staff, governs the school. Principal Nathan Levendal is responsible for the day-to-day management of the school in consultation with the leadership team.

Kronendal is well respected as a feeder school to many of Cape Town’s top high schools. Many learners have gone on to excel at secondary school due to the nourishing grounding they received at Kronendal Primary.
