We run hands-on pottery classes for adults and children, from termly lessons to one-off workshops. Explore hand-building, wheel throwing, sculpting, and glazing in a relaxed, inspiring environment. Our studio is fully equipped and perfectly suited for those wanting to learn something new, unwind, or deepen their ceramic practice.
More than just a class — Coil and Pinch is a growing creative community. Students are encouraged to share their work, celebrate kiln openings, and connect with fellow makers. We regularly host special events, creative gatherings, and retreats that combine clay with other mindful practices, like our Yoga & Clay Retreat at Vala House in Rheenendal.

Studio Hours
Monday to Friday — 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
(Please note: The studio is open during these hours, but classes and visits are by appointment only. It is essential to book if you’d like to meet with a specific teacher.)

Adult classes — Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings 9am to 12pm and Wednesday and Thursday evenings 6pm to 9pm
Children’s classes — Thursday afternoons 3:15pm to 5:15pm
